Update:  my surgery went well, but it's taking a little longer for recovery.  The surgery itself was a huge deal and at this point I feel like I won't be out of here until after the new year.  (A month + away from family over Christmas, ugh.)

Of course they want rehab next... I'll return as soon as possible.
